A few of the tools and processes I've used along the way, though I don't believe the details are especially important-- as a generalist and advisor, one of my strengths is applying knowledge and insights from other industries and tools to the particular challenges at hand:

*A note on software: while I've written a fair amount of robust software that's been deployed to daily use in real lab, manufacturing, and remote field environments, my experience is primarily software-that-powers-hardware (robotic automation, instrumentation, and so on), or software tools to assist with design and analysis. I am not a "software systems at scale" engineer and have a range of colleagues I'd bring in or refer you to for that type of work.
